Butterfly landing
B made all the other mom's jealous. They all wanted butterflies to land on their daughters. B didn't even notice. I won't tell the mom's that one landed on me too.
Lessons in Seattle
Bailey learns the fine art of making coffee. Grind, press, drip, steam.
Coffee wakes adults, coffee grinder wakes Bailey.
Road trip Warrior
The beginning of April Bailey took two long road trips. He is a trooper, self entertainer, and wiggle monster all in one. The car was stocked with toys, books, and snacks. We all survived.

Cute as a button
Did I mention that THAT CHILD is also cute as a button? I can't help but giggle through some of his dramatic spells of frustration and foot stomping theatrics.
Its also a chance to apply the Social Emotional Intelligence parenting skills I was taught at the Seeds of Compassion conference.
I see a glint of calm wash over his face as I label his emotions, cause, and discourse. He listens, roars, exhales, and collapses into my arms for an atoning hug.
