Check out my belly!

His belly is cute! But apparently I have one too. Last week one of my kids asked me, "Are you having another baby...because your belly is still big." Bailey's dad asked me the same thing when we were leaving the hospital...I thought it was looking good up until now?!

Babies are so cute sleeping. yes, I'm breaking the rules...he's sleeping in the boppy. He also sleeps on his tummy for naps. Don't worry...I'm in the same room...besides I slept on my tummy as a baby.

Tonight I did it...I locked Bailey and I out of the truck...keys, purse, phone, and diaper bag inside. At least he was in my arms and I have AAA. :)
Monday I'm making spare keys and distributing them to people that have easy to memorize phone numbers!?

First full day at work with Mommy

Bailey was such a good boy today at work. Napping with the kids then up for activities (he watched while they all played).

secret to longer naps

Bailey has come down with a cold...struggling to breathe past the mucus that keeps coming back no matter how much mom tries to get rid of it. So what's a boy to do? Nap for hours on the mommy pillow.

Baby vs the drunk in the bar

Bailey is like that guy in the bar that has had a lot to drink yet appears sober...then served another drink (one that he doesn't finish) precedes to snuggle up to the nearest boobs before passing out.

Bailey wasn't a fan of his first bath...but I think hunger had something to do with it. Now he seems to enjoy being dunked in a warm bath. But don't we all?

A beautiful day

We had a lovely walk to the park that Bailey slept through as the ducks played and the geese honked at us. He woke as the sun was setting to nurse in the spring like weather.

How's it going you ask?

Eat, sleep and repeat. That has been life for the last wonderful 6 weeks. Bailey is the light of my life even if we hardly move off the couch except to go to bed. He is going through such amazing growth spurts that he eats non stop. My 6 week old baby is wearing 3-6 months clothes. All his 0-3 months clothes are too short for his long, chubby body.
