..try 4 1/2 months! Oh, and what a big boy I have...pushing 17 lbs. and possibly his first two teeth.

3 months is amazing!

Bailey has changed SO much in the last week or two. He's talking more.."ga, la, ahhh ah". He will tell me about his day with grandma or dad. He is also grabbing toys and putting them in his mouth intentionally. Tummy time has taken on a whole new "good time". Check out that video on youtube.

Double Trouble in red

This is Bailey's cousin Seven. He is 7 months older than Bailey and a cute redhead who just learned to crawl and is working on walking with Grandma Toms in this picture! Those two boys are going to be trouble! But I'm looking forward to every minute!

Bailey loves when I read. At preschool, I read to the kids at snack and at the end of the day. B will be fussing but will stop as soon as I start reading. He likes most any book, but really listens to Dr. Seuss books. If I have to pause the story to redirect a stray child he fusses until I resume the story.

At bedtime, we read Goodnight Moon and The Story of Ferdinand. He drinks his milk and drifts off to sleep.

Working on finding his thumb and keeping it his mouth to self soothe. Still have yet to perfect it..but a great new discovery. A good thing, since he seems to have lost interest in pacifiers and soothies.

His belly is cute! But apparently I have one too. Last week one of my kids asked me, "Are you having another baby...because your belly is still big." Bailey's dad asked me the same thing when we were leaving the hospital...I thought it was looking good up until now?!

Babies are so cute sleeping. yes, I'm breaking the rules...he's sleeping in the boppy. He also sleeps on his tummy for naps. Don't worry...I'm in the same room...besides I slept on my tummy as a baby.

Mommy moment

Tonight I did it...I locked Bailey and I out of the truck...keys, purse, phone, and diaper bag inside. At least he was in my arms and I have AAA. :)
Monday I'm making spare keys and distributing them to people that have easy to memorize phone numbers!?
